The location of the hotel is very nice and quiet, the breakfast restaurant is also very nice. The breakfast was good and completely sufficient.

The bathroom was very small, the bathroom facilities below a normal standard. There was no longer a shelf above the sink, only the dowels showed that there used to be one. Two-handle mixer taps do not protect against scalding when the water pressure changes.

Hike directly from the accommodation, across the field and then you are in the forest and a little later at the Lichtenhain waterfall. (approx. 30min.) From there there are many options: continue hiking to the cowshed, Strammsteine and much more or take a bus/tourist train to other excursion destinations. Good breakfast in the winter garden with a great view or outside, right on the meadow.

Rooms are noisy.
